1. Not a Law Firm — No Attorney-Client Relationship
Clausio is a software tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you draft documents. Clausio is not a law firm, is not a substitute for an attorney, and is not engaged in the practice of law. Using Clausio does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Clausio or anyone associated with it. No communication with Clausio is protected by attorney-client privilege.
2. Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this website or produced by Clausio constitutes legal advice or a legal opinion. Documents, clause flags, jurisdiction notes, and explanations generated by Clausio are provided for general informational purposes only and are based on common drafting patterns, not on a review of your specific legal situation. For advice about your particular circumstances, consult a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
3. We Recommend Attorney Review
For any agreement that is important to you — particularly high-value, long-term, or unusual arrangements — you should have a qualified attorney in the relevant jurisdiction review the document before you sign or rely on it. Clausio is designed to give you a strong, structured starting point, not a final, court-tested instrument.
4. AI Limitations
Clausio uses AI models to generate documents. AI systems can and do make mistakes. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation or jurisdiction. Laws differ by country, state, and locality, and they change over time. You are responsible for reviewing every document and confirming it is appropriate before use.
5. Jurisdiction & Scope
Clausio currently helps draft freelance / independent-contractor agreements and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). It does not cover every document type, jurisdiction, or legal situation. Jurisdiction notes are general pointers, not a determination that a document complies with the law of any specific place. Do not use Clausio for matters outside the document types it offers.
6. User Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for the documents you create, edit, sign, send, and rely on. Clausio does not verify the accuracy of the information you provide, the enforceability of any document, or its suitability for your purpose. By using Clausio you accept that the decision to use any document is yours alone.
7. No Guarantee of Outcome
Clausio makes no guarantee that any document it generates will be valid, enforceable, accepted by any counterparty, or sufficient to protect your interests in any dispute. Outcomes depend on facts and law specific to your situation.
